Outpost Bar

  • Built by outside camp, group that builds bar will transport it to and from the playa to the Golden Guy Alley as well as run, staff, and curate their bar

Pop-up Bar

    • Random Service – pop up bar
    • Blank Slate – pop up bar
  • An already existing bar or one built that people sign-up to curate an event in; they provide the entertainment, beverages, decorations, and take away any MOOP

PEOPLE

Bar owner – This person is the start and end of communication between bar and Golden Guy – one person or couple who are in charge of building, transporting, staffing, and breaking down of their bar.

Lead Builder – This person speaks for their group and is in in communication with George, can be same as bar owner, contact for construction questions

Performers/Entertainers/Musicians – Contact George – via website and possible a survey/application – and schedule time in and along the alley

Guest owner – sign up to run bar, brings booze, decorations, entertainment etc.

Bartenders – sign up to a run bar already setup

MISC

THINGS TO KNOW

    • Goal is for 20-22 Golden Guy bars (2018).
    • Deposit / Fundraising money for each bar; money will be returned / given out once space has been clear, MOOPd, etc.
    • We will be scheduling events in the alley
    • We will be obtaining a food permit
    • There will be approximately 1.5 feet on either side of each bar
  • Builders can camp behind their bar(s); if the builders are camped elsewhere then other Golden Guy campmates can camp behind the bars

GG requirements

      • Curated times doors are open (need a time range)
      • 21 and over sign at each bar serving alcohol
      • Fire extinguishers in each bar
      • Hand washing station (for those offering food -more info avail)
    • Sanitary ice

TICKETS

    • Being a member of GG does not include a ticket or early arrival pass
    • Theme camp process will grant us an unknown number of tickets
  • Ability to buy tickets from our allotment will be offered to bars in a fashion TBD
